Kouka Ntadi, "Homens"

"Homens" is an artistic proposition conceived as a journey through the story of the mythical "Guerriers Bantu", a work carried out by the artist Kouka Ntadi for over 10 years.
This exhibition brings together a series of original works of art made by the artist during his stay in Lisbon. Inspired by the architecture and colours of the city, Kouka Ntadi re-appropriates symbolic objects of the Portuguese culture, integrating his painting into new media such as "azulejos", "garafao", and "barcos".
As part of the exhibition, BOA commissioned Kouka, a mural covering the gallery's five-story building.
